Robbie Keane scores...finally

Well done Robbie Keane for getting his first goal in 11 outings for Liverpool against PSV in the Champions League.

The relief for breaking his goal-duck was visible for all to see. I am absolutely ecstatic for him. The Anfield crowed are the best in the business and they have been desparate for Robbie to get his first goal. What better time than tonight to get it in front of the faithful. Lets hope it's the first of many in a Liverpool shirt. There was never any doubt it would come. He has been working his socks off since pre-season and just about everyone associated with LFC wanted that first elusive goal before the flood gates open.

Now that it's finally come I hope it gives him the confidence he needs to do it week in week out in the Premiership. Every Reds fan wants the Premiership more than anything else and if Robbie and Torres fire us to the title in May, then it will go some way to releiving the pain since 1990. Ask any Reds fan and they will tell you that the Chapions League is great but its the Premiership they want and this may be the season for it.

As for tonight, my prediction is 4-1 to the Reds and a long way towards safe passage to the group stages of the Champions League in the new year.
